WordPress Premium 'extra' domain renewal confusion

  I have WordPress Premium but on my control panel it says the free ‘extra’ domain name will expire on Oct 10.2014, while the original name (mensfilearchiveblog.wordpress.com) is automatically renewing (I just got charges $99 through Paypal). Will I somehow loose my extra domain (mensfilearchiveblog.com)? Also, why did I get charged $99 today when renewal is Oct 14? Can you explain?

  Hello there!

  Your domain name (mensfilearchiveblog.com) is part of your $99 Premium upgrade. When that renews, your domain name will also renew.

  Auto-renewals get charged one month in advance of expiration. This happens because if there is a problem with a user’s credit card, there’s plenty of time to iron it out, so there is no interruption in service, or loss of a valuable domain name.

  You do not lose any time from your yearlong upgrade. Even though you were charged today, when the transaction goes through, your expiration date will be October 10, 2015 on your upgrades for mensfilearchiveblog.wordpress.com.
