I updated my personal blog with wordpress premium and I need it transferred to my professional account!! I either need it transferred or a refund, so I can purchase it from the correct account

That would be great! Yes, tastebu.com is my professional site. I run an online culinary magazine called TasteBUds out of Boston University, where I am a student. My domain has expired and I am not sure how to activate the new domain which I bought as part of WordPress Premium. Also, when I initially made the purchase, I thought I did it incorrectly (for my personal blog, which I don’t even use) so I pressed “Cancel” on the order, however the money has been taken out of my account and WordPress doesn’t seem to be recognizing the cancellation.
I’d love your help! Clearly, I am in need.

I can get this straightened out. No worries!
However, I want to check on something. Your tastebu.com site isn’t actually “owned” by your samanthalevy123 WordPress.com account. You appear to have registered a new account for that site. samanthalevy123 is an admin on tastebu.com, but isn’t the owner.
So you have a couple options:
1. Leave the accounts separate and have samanthalevy123 pay for the WordPress Premium upgrade for tastebu.com (with the $99 you have already paid). This doesn’t really cause any problem from our end, but you will have to remember that one account owns tastebu.com and the other account “owns” the upgrade.
2. I can refund the $99 you paid under your samanthalevy123 account. Then you can log into the tastebu.com account and purchase WordPress Premium for tastebu.com.
3. You can log into the tastebu.com account and transfer ownership of that site to your samanthalevy123 account. Then do as I explained in #1 and have samanthalevy123 pay for the WordPress Premium upgrade. This way everything will be under the same account.
Does that make sense? I’m sorry if I have just made this more complicated for you. But it is a lot easier to address this now than to be confused when renewal time comes around.

Okay, so I’d like to have everything under the same account, and ideally that account wouldn’t be tied to my personal account (samanthalevy123) so that a future person could take over the tatstebu.com ownership without also owning my personal account. The only thing is I’m not sure how to log into the tastebu.com account without going through my personal account- how would I do that? Once I am able to do that, you could refund samanthalevy123 account and then I could buy the upgrade again for tastebu.com.
Also, once the upgrade is purchased, how does it get activated? When I log in now, it says that I’ve bought an upgrade and that the domain for tastebu.com has expired, yet the site is still not functioning the right way because it hasn’t realized that we’ve renewed the domain.
Is there a more efficient way for us to communicate or is this as good it’s going to get? I could give you my personal email address.

Each WordPress.com account has a different email and username. Could you have set up an account using your business email?

Okay, so I figured out how to log in to the tastebu.com account directly! Now what is the procedure for refunding samanthalevy123 and should I purchase WordPress Premium immediately for tastebu.com? And just to double check- purchasing Premium will make the website run smoothly for one year, including hosting and domain, right?
We can actually just keep using this forum- it seems to be working fine!
