  Hi.

  I am Avinash Joshi, a very great promoter of open source technologies. I study at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus ( http://amritapuri.amrita.edu )

  I want to spread the word of open source in our college. The major presentation I would like to give is about blogging and its importance!

  I love wordpress and I have my personal site in wordpress ( http://avinashjoshi.co.in ). I would like to take wordpress as an example to help them start with blogging.

  It would be great if someone could give me a very good presentation on wordpress (history, versions and its evolution), blogging and its importance.
