Hi there,
On the WordPress.com Pro plan, you have access to your site’s file structure via SFTP. So, you’ll be able to edit the files of the WooCommerce plugin.
You can learn more about that feature here:

Thank you. I have used ftp in the past. Just wanted to make sure I have access to the WooCommerce plugin files I will be installing.
-
Yup, we can understand the need for that on a Pro plan. It includes some database access as well.
Let us know what other questions come up as you’re deciding what to do. Cheers!

Can the plan be extended beyond the 50Gb. I will be establishung a multi-vendor platform so lots of pics uploaded. I will need database access as well. Does the Pro plan include ssl.

Hi there,
We’ll be launching an add-on soon that you’ll be able to buy to extend the storage on the Pro plan if needed.
On the Pro plan you have access to both the database, and your site’s files via SFTP:

https://wordpress.com/en/support/hosting-configuration/
All sites hosted on WordPress.com have SSL enabled by default on the domain, regardless of plan. In other words, this is included on both the free and the Pro plan.
