I am interested to buy WordPress Pro. However if someone can clarify the following queries, it would be of great help.
1) What would be cost of domain in the following years?
2) Can I purchase domain space from different company next year?
3) Does the above mentioned plan provide SSL certificate? Custom email id (if yes, how many?) -
Hey @amlan500000, I’ve tried to answer your questions and provided additional links to it.
1) The first year is free for your domain. You will be charged depending on the domain extension(.com, .org, .blog, etc.) you have purchased after a year.
2) Absolutely! You are free to buy domains from WordPress.com or from other registrars.
3) The professional package will have a custom email free for 3 months and after that you can choose to pay for the email.Almost everything you will need is listed at https://wordpress.com/pricing/

Hi there, just some clarifications to what @rawalplawit mentioned
1. Yes, the first year of domain registration is included in the Pro plan. Domain renewal from the second year would follow this guide https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-pricing-and-available-tlds/
2. I’m not sure what you are asking here. Do you mean additional domains or the domain you registered through WordPress.com under the Pro plan?
3. All WordPress.com websites include SSL by default through Let’s Encrypt. https://wordpress.com/support/https-ssl/
