wordpress problems?

I’m not sure where to ask this… if this is the wrong place… sorry… Is there some sort of issue with wordpress right now? Last night my site wouldn’t load and today it will only occasionally load and not fully when it does… this is also happening on the wordpress main page and it took me forever to get into the forums… but it looks like other people are posting questions so maybe it’s on my end? I can go to other sites no problem. Thanks in advance for any info or suggestions..

I was looking on the apple support page… turned off java and that seemed to work… I think it was because I just put an rss link on there (maybe?) anyway, thanks..

Without a link to the blog in question we can’t do anything but guess. Please provide the link. Is it the one linked to your usersname? That looks fine to me.
FWIW, the forums have been slow today.

I noticed that my site was pretty slow and doing partial loads most of today over the last 12 hours or so. I thought it had something to do with my google problems – trace routes timing out, google reader not working, google web search not working, but gmail works, google syndication (adsense) servers was having problems, etc.
It might just be your connection. Is there anyway you can have someone (preferably at a different location and ISP) perform a test for you?

One thing I’ve found (at least around where I live) is that sometimes when things get kinked up and slow way down, resetting my DSL modem takes care of the problem (unplug it, let is set for about a minute and plug it back in). I’m sure the same thing can be done with cable modems as well.

We’ve just had three hours of struggles with the internet. All I can find is info about a virus attack that dates back to 2001; nothing happening right now. I can’t seem to use Firefox at all; the only page it loads is Google! but IE will load pages, if reeeeeeaallly slowwwwlly.

I’m also having a lot of problems with slow loading of wordpress pages – its affecting all my blogs but particularly: http://icarg.wordpress.com/
I’m using firefox on a mac – but its also happening in safari. The problem occurs on all my computers and doesn’t affect other URLs – just wordpress. This is a new problem – it has only occurred in the past 12 hours or so. It can take up to 15 minutes for my main page to load. Sometimes it doesn’t load at all (i.e. I just give up). Similar times to successfully edit a page or post. -
