  How can I keep the first 4 photos in my posts from showing on the reader.

  Many of my post rely on the element of surprise as to what the photo is going to be and that’s impossible to do when the Reader shows them before my post is even opened.

  Hi there,

  Since your site is on WordPress.com, your posts will appear in the Reader for people who are following your site. There is no way to prevent a published post from appearing for followers in their personal Reader.

  The only workaround is to make the posts password-protected though it adds the added hassle of followers having to log in via a password to view the post.
