WordPress Reader

How can I add my wp site post on the wp reader?
The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff). It is not hosted by WordPress.com, but it is connected with Jetpack.

Hi there,
As long as your site has a valid feed, and someone is following it in the Reader, it will be in the Reader. And your site already has a Reader feed at https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/115399456
From what I can see, your most recent posts are correctly appearing in that feed.

That’s because your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. You do get some benefits by using the Jetpack plugin, but it still doesn’t compare 1:1 to what sites hosted here at WordPress.com have.
When using the Reader’s search bar, your Jetpack site will appear in the Sites search results for matching search terms. If you have a paid Jetpack plan, your site’s posts will also appear in the Posts search results for matching search terms.
Posts from sites with any paid Jetpack plan will also be displayed in Tag pages in the Reader. These are pages which display all posts tagged with a specific term, e.g. https://wordpress.com/tag/cats
Since you’re on the free Jetpack plan, you will only be able to search for your site URL in the Reader search – you can’t search for specific posts or tags on the free plan.
Additionally, posts from Jetpack sites don’t appear in the Reader immediately; you may need to wait up to 24 hours before you’ll see your newly published posts there.

I hope that clarifies things!
