wordpress reader

I have setup a wordpress.org, but it still has alot of html limitations wordpress.com has.
Some things are better and some are worse. However I do have a couple questions, which after 3 days of searching, I can not find answers.Do wordpress.org posts show up on the wordpress.com reader? By moving to wordpress org am I loosing the readers of wordpress.com.
Also, I read that my followers would be moved to wordpress.org, but from what I can see they were not. How can know they were.
Thanks

Do wordpress.org posts show up on the wordpress.com reader?
No. WordPress.ORG installs are like stand alone islands. They do not belong to the hosted WordPress.COM blogging community. Posts published on WordPress.ORG installs do not automatically appear in the WordPress.COM Reader and on the WordPress.COM Topics (categories and tags) Pages.

Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and you post the relevant URL(s) into a forum thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you.
