WordPress Reader Tag Search is Broken
-
When I go to my Reader to use the tag search it doesn’t work. I can enter a tag word to search for but it does not allow me to hit enter which then performs the search. It works in Firefox, but not in IE desktop or IE modern. This has been happening to me for the last few days but sometimes it will kick in but today, all day it is 100% broken.
Also that list of tag searches doesn’t behave properly for example: Let’s say I did 10 tag searches, every time I search for a tag it gets added to the list below so that I do not ever have to search for it again. Great. Now…
Let’s say I want to delete all those tags and start fresh. So I delete all 10 tags. Now my list is empty. Good. Now…
I search for 10 more tags to rebuild my list. They get added to the list again. Good. Now…
If I close the Reader and reopen it, my list is back to zero again. Or if I refresh the page the list is empty again. But sometimes if I switch from IE modern to IE desktop, my list is back.
Right now, my list does not show up in IE desktop or IE modern but if I go to Reader from Firefox, my list is there again.
WP Reader is inconsistent in it’s behavior and as I said up top at the start, now I cannot even perform tag searches at all unless I am in Firefox.
Keep in mind, my tag search being broken in both versions of IE happened today, after you guys did the new update. I also saw another post describing another Reader problem by someone else and he too said it happened after today’s update.
For clarification, I do NOT use any addons or mods for IE or Firefox and I do not have active X blocked in IE. These are vanilla browsers.
Thanks
