  Good Day,

  I currently have a wordpress website (mayonbackpackers.wordpress.com), now i want to purchase a domain which will now be mayonbackpackers.com.

  For now i want people who are searching for this new domain (mayonbackpackers.com) to be redirected to the mayonbackpackers.wordpress.com. Can you advice me on this one?

  Just so I am clear, when people visit your site, do you want the mayonbackpackers.com URL to display? Or the mayonbackpackers.wordpress.com URL?

  Yes, i want the mayonbackpackers.com URL to display when people searches for the mayonbackpackers.wordpress.com. (sorry for the confusion on the first post). So basically, i want the mayonbackpackers.com to be the primary domain (correct me if im wrong).

  That is correct. If you set up a custom domain for your WordPress.com site, any traffic going to your mayonbackpackers.wordpress.com URL will be redirected to mayonbackpackers.com automatically.

  Hi staff-ozmodiar!

  Does wordpress offer premium domains (mayonbackpackers.com) also? Because i’m already planning to get this domain from another provider, but if wordpress offers domains then that can be an option for me as well.
