WordPress referrers have dwindled, doesn’t show up in search

It took me hours to find out how to ask a question. Ok, here is the question. I used to have a lot of WordPress referrers from automatic links. Not anymore. Plus I don’t have very many automatic links on my posts. Why? Third my posts don’t show up when I use the same tags as someone else. They are no-where. Example, my last post.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

“Automatic” links, or “Automattic” links? We need examples of what you’re talking about, because those are two different things.

There could be many reasons you’re not in the global tag system. For one thing, you’ve got a lot of crazy code in your site and I recommend you not copy/paste from Word or whatever it is you’re doing. There could be other factors, like your blog being placed in the Mature category, or you choosing that the site be “invisible to search engines” but accessible to regular readers. That will take it out of the global tags as well. To see if you’ve been “Matured,” contact staff at http://support.wordpress.com/contact

    Well,OK thanks but,
1.My blog wouldn’t be in the mature category because it’s a political, news site.
2.I haven’t designated the site for invisibility.

I do sometimes write in word and copy and paste to my site. What difference would that make? If it does make a difference what do I do meanwhile?

    Automatic links
I’m talking about blogger links wordpress adds at the end of a post from other bloggers who post information that is relevant to your post..That way they get more traffic.
Thanks for your response and time.

1 all kinds of blogs have been mistakenly marked mature. Ask staff to be sure.

Writing in Word is TERRIBLE for your site and can in fact render it unreadable. It adds a ton of junk code that accumulates in the background until one day it’s one bad tag too many and BAM your blog is screwed up and you have to fix it post by agonizing post. Do not use it. If you want to write offline, use something designed for blogs like Windows Live Writer or Blogdesk. They are both free and good.

Ah, you mean Related Posts. These are all related issues, and it looks like staff will have to look into your blog.
