WordPress refusing to follow sites

  I am on a free WordPress account, my site will not follow any other sites in the reader. Is there any way that this can be fixed?

  Hi Claire,

  hope you are doing good !!
  One can definitely follow blogs on a free plan too.
  Plz follow the below steps:-
  1.)Go to the Reader tab
  2.)There is search bar where in you can type the category of blogs you want to see.
  3.)You will be able to see the number of blogs ,just go to the end of the blog and press the thre dots icon visible over there ..and it says one option as Follow Site.
