WordPress removing backslashes ” from my posts

    Hello!

    I am running into an issue where everytime I update a post in WordPress it automatically removes all backslashes from the post.

    I am using the ACF plugin so I can input pieces of code that my users will be able to copy to use in their own projects.

    Is there a way to prevent WordPress from doing this?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    To clarify:

    The good news is that your hosting provider may be able to help in this instance since they may also keep a backup of hosting accounts on their end. I recommend contacting your current provider for further assistance since they are in the best position to help.
