WordPress removing www from site address
-
WordPress removes www from my web address paleamber.net (should be http://www.paleamber.net) and I think this causes google to have problems when indexing.

Your domain, http://www.paleamber.net, will always be redirected to http://paleamber.com, so you can feel free to use either version on your business cards or elsewhere.
Redirecting the first version of your URL to the second version helps to ensure that search engines index your site properly.

Thanks for the response Kardotim. Will I have issues with links and google ranking though i.e. does google count http://www.paleamber.com and Paleamber.com as the some thing? Should I be asking anyone linking to my site to only use the address with out the www?

Yes it does. It makes no different linking with or without www.
