WordPress repeatedly asking to verify email address

  I know that this question has been posed before, but I have not seen a resolution as of yet. I cannot post in my blog as WordPress keeps asking me to verify my email address, which I have done numerous times. The message will not go away, even after ‘authenticating’ my account. I have cleared all cache/cookies, as well, my browser is enabled to accept third-party cookies. Any other suggestions?
