WordPress rss feed not updating

    I’m having an odd problem and I’m hoping there’s some simple explanation. I’ve sent a feedback, but haven’t gotten much response. I’ve also searched the forums and I don’t think anyone else is having this problem. Or if so they’ve kept quiet about it :-)

    I have set up a Feedburner feed on my site (http://suisekiart.com) and it is working fine and has all my posts. However, when I subscribe to the normal wordpress feed at http://suisekiart.com/feed/ it doesn’t have the most recent posts. It’s only current as of June 19.

    I’m still a very new blog, on a rather specialized subject, so don’t have any subscribers yet besides myself – but I certainly hope to have some! Does anyone know if setting up feedburner somehow causes the wordpress feed to stop? I’m thinking of disabling the feedburner just to see what would happen – but thought I’d ask around first.

    Any ideas out there?

    Strange there Janet. I am getting your entire feed in both browsers and RSS readers. I know that some readers put in a ‘cache’ to make sure that is bookmarks new feeds and has time limits on them, but just reading your feed for the first time has all them there.

    I had the same problem trying to import my blog over to Facebook.

    Then I entered my website address: masterclasslady.wordpress.com over on the Facebook site and the import worked, but then saved my address as masterclasslady.com/feed.

    So strange.

    Hi Trent, that is strange isn’t it? At least others are seeing the new posts if they subscribe that way. (I realize that, contrary to what I said in my first post, I have absolutely no idea if I have any subscribers, or how many, since Feed Stats are gone. I believe that I did have had a few before the stats were taken away).

    It sounds like the problem may be specific to my set up. I wonder if something in how I access feeds (Bloglines, using Firefox browser) is smart enough to notice that I’m already subscribed to the Feedburner version of the feed so it doesn’t give me the standard wordpress version. Seems unlikely…but who knows.

    Anyway, at least I know it’s working for others.
