WordPress says my username/email does not exist
-
I am the only user on my website. It is just a blog it does not collect data. Now when I enter in my username/email it tells me that user does not exist. I called GoDaddy and they said it might be a plugin? Why would a plugin delete my username and email? I’m the admin. I’m the only user! Now they want $50 to fix it!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @blackbetty24,

Your site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress.

These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only :) https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

However, if you have access to your hosting, then you can easily reset or create a new admin user.

How to Change Your WordPress Password using phpMyAdmin //If you have access to your database.

How to Add a WordPress Administrator User Using FTP // using this you can create a new admin user if you have access to FTP.

You can try this emergency method, but this can cause problem https://codex.wordpress.org/User:MichaelH/Orphaned_Plugins_needing_Adoption/Emergency

Ask your hosting provider (Hostgator) if they can help you out.
Thanks !!!
