wordpress searches not working

  Whenever I search in wordpress (in the engine at the top of the screen), clicking the “search” button yeilds nothing. Anyone know why this is?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  at the very top of the main forum page it says

  Search WordPress.com blogs has been temporarily disabled while we iron out a few problems. Apologies for the inconvenience.

  No worries. We were all new once and it does take some poking around to figure things out.
