  Hello, I really need to speak to someone that can help me make sure all of my security settings are set up properly. Contact WP support has not been easy.

  Probably because you’re asking in the wrong support forum. This forum assists with sites hosted at WordPress.com and it sounds like your site isn’t hosted here. See this previous reply to you from a member of staff; https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/image-resizing-16/

  No, I have it hosted with GoDaddy, but this isn’t a Go Daddy issue.

  It also isn’t a WordPress.com issue either I’m afraid. WordPress.com is another place that hosts sites like GoDaddy, Bluehost etc and your site isn’t hosted here as you have stated. Here a modified version of the wordpress software is used. At GoDaddy the version of the software you use has its own support forum as was explained in the link above. @fstat said:
