Will the changes I have made in my sites (including theme, plugins and some customisation) being overridden by the new release?

Hey there,
Most changes are not impacted by WordPress updates. The main exception is if you edit the theme files directly without creating a child theme. When the files are edited directly, they will be overridden when the theme itself updates.
You can also back up your site to ensure you have a copy of everything just as you want it:
Jetpack VaultPress Backup automatically saves every change and helps you get back online quickly with one‑click restores. This guide will show you how to access your site’s backups and restore your website to any previous point in time. This feature is available on sites with the WordPress.com Creator or Entrepreneur plan. If your site has one of our legacy plans, it is available on the Pro plHope this helps!
