wordpress seems different

    Hi – hi have other sites in WP 4.4 but this is NOT the same.
    Havre I done something wrong or signed up to the wrong WP?

    Hi,

    This is WordPress.COM, which is different from self hosted WordPress.ORG in many ways.

    WordPress.com has a revamped dashboard and admin area which was launched very recently. You can still access the old WP Admin area, which will be familiar to anyone using self hosted WordPress.org, at yousitename.wordpress.com/wp-admin.

    You can also manage your WordPress.org sites from the new WordPress.com dashboard by installing Jetpack, connecting it to the latter account, and activating the Site Management module.

    this is NOT the same

    There is a 2-page site set up on the WordPressdotcom site linked to your username. If you are trying to manage that site, then you can reach the WP Admin through the link that @mishrashutosh provided https://worksafeqlddotcomdotau.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

    If you are trying to log in to your (newly set up?) self-hosted site worksafeqld.com.au again, adding /wp-admin/ to the end of the site address will get you there.

    If you want to learn more about the new Dashboard on WordPress.com, here’s the announcement: https://en.blog.wordpress.com/2015/11/23/the-new-wordpress-dot-com/ You’ll only see that new Dashboard when logged in to WordPressdotcom or when you manage here your self-hosted sites connected by jetpack. Since you’ve only signed up to WordPressdotcom a few hours ago, it seems likely that is the scenerio.
