WordPress Server Problesm?

  I can not get my blog to come up. I get an error message. Is there something wrong with the server?

  I had been using the GoDaddy server with the WordPress Blog. I just called up GoDaddy and they said that a hacker or someone had terminated my blog. They said I could reinstate it for $80. I think this is a monster rip off by GoDaddy. I did not terminate my blog or do anything, and my domain name was good for one year to Aug 2010.
  Is there anything WordPress can do to help me recover all of my files from my blog?

  No. When you are self-hosted you yourself are responsible for backing up your files.

  This really is the forum for blogs hosted on wordpress.COM. tvassontechnology.com is NOT a blog hosted on wordpress.COM.
