WordPress Settings to Ping out my BlogPosts

  In an effort to increase traffic on my blog, I want to set up my blog to ping out posts through various services like pingomatic, technorati, or blogsearch.

  So, I went to “Settings,” then “Writing” and expected to scroll down to where it says “Update Services,” so I could add the URL, but I don’t see this option. I simply want to add site update services like the above.

  How do I do this through WordPress? Please tell me the steps to follow.

  There is no such feature or page on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. The update services page exists only on WordPress.org installs. Here at WordPress.com all our pinging is done automatically > New content: WordPress.com Pings For You
