WordPress sharing, not in Dashboard menu

  Hi

  I don’t use WordPress every day so I’m stuck on this:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/ doesn’t give a date or a version from which the sharing feature is available

  I’m running 3.2.1 which is pretty recent.

  It says “In your blog’s Settings menu, there is a Sharing option.”

  and .. there isn’t.

  I’ve just realised why. That support page is talking about the online version, not the downloadable version.

  So .. what’s the story, does the online version test out features that come along in the downloadable version? Anyone know in which version Sharing might be enabled?

  You’d have to install Sharedaddy or Jetpack plugin and if you’re running 3.2.1, then you’re posting in the wrong forum.

  WordPress.com, the hosted version, tests out features that are being incorporated into the upcoming version of WordPress standalone. Here we are on continuous rollout and can have 16 updates a day!
