  I’m designing a website in WordPress with 4 inner pages. I wanted to know how does WordPress treat these inner pages, please see question below. Also note I’m designing a theme from scratch for the site.

  — Physically only 2 files exist; one of the home page and another of the inner page (this inner page acts a template for all the pages if the design is same.)

  — Is the content for all the inner pages is actually placed in the db and when server request is made, it populates the ‘inner page template’ with the content and displays the page on the user’s browser.

  Please advice.
