WordPress Site Down

  My WordPress site keeps intermittently going down and then coming back up. This started at about 6 PM last night (SG time). I did not make any changes or updates to the site before this started happening. My firewall did not change, neither did any plugins. However, at about the same time, one of my payment gateway plugins (Hoolah) stopped working and displayed cURL error message 28, which I’m assuming is linked in some way. The plugin is not the cause of the issue with the site though, because the issue persists even after I deactivated the plugin. What is causing this problem with my site and how do I rectify it?

  I have found that recently when I type in my website URL, there is a redirect slug automatically appended at the end of it that starts ?redirect_to=https. I am unsure what is causing this issue, and I believe it is causing my site to go down intermittently as well as affecting my site’s connection with my hosting platform (GoDaddy). I do have some plugins installed related to redirection such as the WPS Hide Login plugin. However, the issue persists even after I disable this plugin, leading me to believe the plugin is not the cause of this issue. I would appreciate an explanation about what is behind this issue and how to remove the redirect loop from my site.
