WordPress site got hacked, can’t delete hacker’s post

  Hi everyone,
  I just recently checked my blog and see that there’s a malicious blog post popping up on my homepage. I checked all the written blog posts and couldn’t found it in order to delete. Is there any other way to delete a blog post through database ?

  Do you have a website hosted on WordPress.com or it is a self-hosted WordPress blog?

  You need to scan your website for malware, and you can use malware scan plugin to check and remove malicious code from your Installation.

  @khvnhtung Just to clarify, this support forum assists users on the WPcom hosted platform.

  For help with a site using the open source WP software, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.

  @JustJennifer, Thank you. I just discovered that one of my sites has also been hacked – and replaced by another that’s similar. Even the articles look different; my words, but not in the right format. I’m also going to need to close down my card because the person just used it 5/13/20 to buy my site!
