WordPress site missing

  Hello! I was building a custom website using WordPress and MAMP as my database, working on my localhost://8889. I went to work on it and now it cannot find that page. I see folders for my project on my computer, but I am unable to see it live anymore or work on it in wordpress…almost like it didn’t exist anymore. Very wordy, sorry. Hope y’all can help! Thank you!

  I’m afraid that, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org).

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
