WordPress Site Not Indexed By Google After 2 Months

  Hi,

  I recently started a blog with the domain http://www.hiityourbody.com and have done everything needed to get my site indexed (Google webmasters, creating quality and unique content, sitemaps, etc.) but I don’t think my site has been indexed.

  I test it by searching “site:www.hiityourbody.com” on google and it says “A description for this result is not available because of this site’s robots.txt” and when I check on ahrefs.com my site does not show up. However, within Google webmasters it says that my pages have been indexed. I’ve had a blog before and it was indexed almost right away.

  Maybe I’m just a little confused, but some guidance would be really appreciated!

  Have you tried using your correct address which is:-

  site:http://hiityourbody.com/

  That brings your site up on Bing and Google, as does typing hiityourbody.com too.

  Thanks. Shouldn’t it show up for http://www.hiityourbody.com or http://www.hiityourbody.com as well? I’m a little confused as to the difference “www” makes.

  As “www” doesn’t appear anywhere in your address that’s why by using it you couldn’t find your site in search engines.

  More and more sites are just using http or (for increased security) https these days.

  So if I have backlinks directed to http://www.hiityourbody.com will these not count as backlinks for my site?

  I’d have to change the backlinks to hiityourbody.com?
