wordpress site not render in explroer

  i have created a site using theme twenty eleven. it looks fine in Firefox and Safari but in Explorer 8 and Chrome it does not render correctly. Specifically the header does not display – it comes up as a large white box at the top of the screen with no images or content.

  Any suggestions on how to fix it?

  thank-you for your response, but I cant get the link to work, it says
  ‘Firefox can’t find the server at http://www.browwsehappy.com’

  i’m on my home computer so I dont think its being blocked.

  is that definitely the right link? It sounds like it would be the answer to my problem so I am keen to see the page!

  There was a typo, it should be http://browsehappy.com/ (one w!)
