Please how can I build my site without a domain?
My old wordpress didn’t have a domain, yet it still works. I still create posts.Thank you in advance.

Hi there,
You can create a new WordPress.com site without a custom domain, yes.
All sites on WordPress.com get a free WordPress.com subdomain when the site is created, that functions just like any regular subdomain, and your site is fully online and accessible at that subdomain (provided you set it to public).
So you can experiment and build your site at that free address, even upgrade the site while still using the free address, and only add a custom domain if and when you decide you want to.

Bumping this because you say it is possible, but after I click on “create site” i get the “Let’s get your site a domain!” page, and I can find nowhere on that page that says “skip” – it seems to force me to select and buy a domain – or – transfer an existing domain. So you say they get a free subdomain when they are created, but you have to pay for a domain already to even get the site created in the first place?

you can search domains, or link existing domains – but there is no skip, no select website name
