WordPress sites hacked – email inbox frenzy

  I’ve received hundreds of subscriptions to wordpress sites all under various iterarions of my email address.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi There,

  Just to clarify, was it your account that is subscribing to other sites or are there others subscribing to you and your getting notifications? I have marked this for a moderator/staff to take a look at for you.

  It is my account that is subscribing to hundreds and hundreds of wordpress blogs. My email could have been hacked, but all the subscriptions involve wordpress. fiercefacts.com is another url. It doesn’t appear that my email address itself was hacked, though I can’t be sure.

  The account you are logged into isn’t subscribed to any blogs. Any blogs you are subscribed to would be listed on this page in the Reader:

  https://wordpress.com/following/manage

  Our system shows no subscription emails have been sent to the email address you are using for this account. What is the URL of the site connected to your account?

  If you let me know, I’ll see what I can find.
