I have no desire to have my own blog or be sold anything by you, your associates or subsidiaries. How do i unsubscribe from ALL emails except those pertaining to my daughter’s blog?

Hello!
To delete your email to not receive emails from WordPress.com you can go to your profile. On the left navigation bar you will see Account Settings. Here you can delete your email.
I hope this helps!

The emails are not coming from WordPress. They’re coming from the desperate realtors you SOLD my information to. Can’t thank you enough for that. I get to 2 or 3 emails per day from your clients below, delivered to the email address you required me to disclose just to comment on my daughter’s WordPress posts.

I am almost certain WordPress does not sell the information of its users. I personally did not do this to you. I am a member, such as yourself and was only trying to help you get your email off. I can tell you personally I have been a member since November 2015 and have never once received an unwarranted email. These emails must be from another source that had your email information. I am sorry you’re experiencing this because WordPress.com, all of its affiliates, and the community of WordPress itself is passionate about helping others and try to make sure everyone has a great experience. My best suggestion would be to contact your email host and have them walk you through on how to block these emails from contacting you again.
I hope this helps you.

As @stefan states, we never sell your private information to any third parties. As stated in our privacy page:
Automattic will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Automattic discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Automattic believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Automattic, third parties or the public at large.
There are various places that the spam below was picked up, but I can assure you that it was not from us. We take your privacy seriously and we wouldn’t have the trust of so many users who are on WordPress.com if we were selling their private information.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

I appreciate your responses and would like to believe that you yourselves have been told the truth. Let’s say that you’re not harvesting email addresses. Is there any other reason why my email address is required to post on my daughter’s blog?

Hi there,
In order to post comments here at WordPress.com, you must have a WordPress.com account. In order to have a WordPress.com account, an email is required.
Certain visitors to Automattic’s websites choose to interact with Automattic in ways that require Automattic to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Automattic gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for a blog at WordPress.com to provide a username and email address. Those who engage in transactions with Automattic – by purchasing access to the Akismet comment spam prevention service, for example – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, Automattic collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Automattic. Automattic does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
So, you definitely do not have to provide an email address, but it is required in order to interact with the site through commenting.
