WordPress SSL and DNS records
-
I am a money with a hammer who knows just enough to be dangerous.
So users were getting SSL errors and I can’t seem to figure out why. The site is using legit WordPress for hosting.
So I tried flushing the DNS cache. Then I found the option to edit the DNS records and deleted anything I didn’t think belonged using https://wordpress.com/support/domains/custom-dns/view-or-restore-default-dns-records/ for reference which was probably a bad idea. (There should probably also be an option to backup or export the BIND file.)
I tried the reset option but I couldn’t click the ones for A or CNAME (likely because they were already set to default?) and the one for email gave the following cryptic error “There was a problem when restoring default email DNS records” (likely because I’m not using email.)
Can some WordPress employee kindly go and untangle my mess, tell me what I did wrong, and maybe update the help docs to prevent others from messing up as I have? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Update. Apparently https://chaddsbistro.com and https://www.chaddsbistro.com use two different certs? The second is the one giving me issues.
Someone also said “The problem with the site is that the subject and subject alternative name are both for wordpress.com, not chaddsbistro.com.”
