WordPress stats – 1000th visitor?

  Is there anyway on wordpress.com blog stats to find out who a specific visitor is? Like if you want to run a competition for the 1000th visitor for example. How can you confirm who that visitor is?

  Or if someone can think of another way to do this kind of competition?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I don’t think it can be done on WordPress.com. It would be fun, but you’d have to specify unique visitor. I could set up a script that would access your site 10,000 times in a few hours!

  Frankly, I have several external sites and I wanted to mark the X number visitor, and it was virtually impossible.

  Bummer! Thanks for the help.

  I guess I’ll just say something like: “To celebrate 1000 hits this week, I’m going to give away…. Just comment on this post and I will randomly draw a name out of a hat.”
