WordPress Stats, API issues

  I have installed WordPress on my own domain for a client. I used my API for stats, but then realized they would have access to stats for all my site as well (didn’t know this beforehand). So I created an account on WordPress.com for the client and tried reentering their API key. When doing so, I get the following error:

  The owner of that API Key (jpwhitaker) is not on the access list for this blog. When this blog was registered, sccr410’s API key was used. To add you to the access list, sccr410 must visit this blog’s stats dashboard page and use the form at the bottom of that page.
  ——-

  How can I remove the old API key and use the new one?
