I tried deactivating and re-activating the plugin but it did not make a difference.

Go to settings > general and make sure your timezone is set correctly for starters.
Since none of the volunteers here have any experience with the stats plugin (everyone here has it by default), you will need to contact staff directly on issues with the stats plugin at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ .

Any updates to this issue? My Stats report also changed time very unexpectedly in the last day. I haven’t changed any blog settings, and my host reports no changes on their end either.

Yes I have self hosted but the api key has to come from here so that is why I am writing here. All my s-hosted sites sats are gone and it says:” Your WordPress.com account, givesuccess is not authorized to view the stats of this blog. “
So can u tell me what is up esp since I cant even find the api key in my profile on the .com. It send me to Kismet site?? It says the api key is mine but then says I have not the authority to use. What is up w/that???
Is there a way to add non .com sites thru the .com dashboard?? How to add self hosted now?? Did it chabge???
Many questions but no aswers. .org forum says to ask here too. I am getting dizzy from all the circles I have been running. -
The forum can’t help you. ONLY staff can help you, so use that link.
There is a widespread problem with the stats plugin and Jetpack right now. ONLY staff can help you, so contact them using the link tt posted.

Well then the staff is going to be very very busy because there are how many selhosted installs? If they all have to contact staff for them to fix….some poeple are going to geting some massive overtime.
They can just post the fix or download/patch or whatever they do so we can fix ourself. (if poss)
I already contacted them too. I guess I will just have to not worry and it will just get fixed in time. -
Yes, I’ve been trying to find out what’s happening with my stats ALL DAY. It is a mess trying to find answers here. Why haven’t WordPress issued some sort of notice? I’m on subscription lists & haven’t seen an email at all.
I can no longer find the place to allow users access to stats & no way for my .com user to become a user on my .org site.

They are going to fix the bug whether you tell them about the problem or not; they already know it exists. But if they get a thousand emails about it, they might fix it faster.
Posting in the forum isn’t going to get it fixed faster.
