WordPress stats is different than stats on linkedin

    Hi!

I linked my wordpress to linkedin in order to have more visitors. But, recently i realize that the stats on wordpress and linkedin is somewhat different. For example, i have posted a post 1 day ago and i have reached 72 views in linkedin while there was only 3 views counted on wordpress stats.

I wonder why there must be differences? Why linkedin counted more views than wordpress? Thank you

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you publish your posts to LinkedIn, any views on LinkedIn will not be included in your WordPress.com stats. To register as a view on WordPress.com, the reader would have to click through the LinkedIn posting and read your post on your site.

The same is true for any other services which you’ve connected (Facebook, Twitter, etc)

    Hi Alex

So i dont write directly in linkedin. I linked my wordpress to linkedin, so someone who want to read my full article has to enter my wordpress by clicking the link.

I am sure that it would be clear if i can upload the crop image in here.

I still wonder why linkedin has different stats counting compared to wordpress

If you’ll upload the image to your site’s media library, then let me know here, I’ll take a look. :)

And this is link to views counted by wordpress https://komunitask3.files.wordpress.com/2015/02/wordpress-1.jpg

Please see the differences in red square.

Would you like to tell me why linkedin and wordpress count in different way?

    Thanks

LinkedIn and WordPress are counting different things, not counting in a different way.

The LinkedIn number, 193, is telling you that people were on LinkedIn, browsing their feed, or your profile, or anywhere those updates are displayed — and 193 times LinkedIn displayed the link to your post within that feed. Of those 193, some people may have clicked through and read your full post, but not necessarily. But that’s 193 views of the update on LinkedIn.

The WordPress.com number, 22, is how many times that exact page on your site was viewed. It does not count any views of updates LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, or any other service. Someone had to be on katigaku.com, and then view that post, to be counted in that 22 number.
