WordPress stats no longer working

  I recently moved my blog from a personal computer to an official hosting account. I have gotten multiple comments on it, so I know that people have been reading it. But it says that I haven’t had a visitor in a long time now. Any solutions?

  Since stats are an integral part of things here at wordpress.COM, the volunteers here in the forum really cannot help. What you need to do is contact staff with all the details: http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ .

  The stats plugin, as I remember is supported by staff here at .COM since that is where all of the account stuff is handled. When I added the stats plugin to my self-hosted blog and had issues, it was .COM support that sorted it out.

  I’ve just been around a long time. The first version of wordpress I used chiseled posts into stone tablets. :-)

  You too, TSP? I remember when I had my first wp.com blog… you’d put your email address in like a waiting list, then they would send you an invite, then you’d create your blog.

  @devblog, actually I’ve only been here since March of 2007 (although it seems much longer) so I guess you could say I was in the wordpress “middle ages.”

  @vivian, I’m not completely sure with Akismet since they have their own website and support links, but since the API key and account are here, they have to have access to that stuff and I’m not sure if everyone at automattic does or not. With my stats plugin on my self-hosted blog, they actually had to go into my account and manually add my self-hosted blog because it would not do it when I was trying to do the setup and activation from my self-hosted blog. What ended up getting it to work is kind of fuzzy. There were so many things they were having me try.
