WordPress Stats, views by country

  Months ago, the WordPress Stats “views by country” would NOT count my own views when I would preview a post. It IS now counting my own preview views. This skews the data, sadly. Does anyone know why there has been a change??? How can I fix it? Thanks for letting me know.

  Your stats are not recorded on your Public blog when you are logged into WordPress.com. But they are recorded if you are referring to a Private blog. See here http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/

  Thanks Timethief. I wish this weren’t the case. I had to make my blog private because of a stalker. So now, the stats aren’t really accurate anymore, when it counts my own visits to the blog. Oh well… at least my stalker can’t access the blog anymore. Thanks again for your help.
