WordPress 'Structure Theme' Help please
-
Hello,
still new to this whole thing, and have two issues to ask about, would appreciate any help!
1) on the homepage, top right, the name of the blog comes out in grey fonts, in my case it says ‘dylannrose’.(http://dylannrose.wordpress.com/) i was wondering whether i could replace that text with a logo or something? if it’s possible, please teach me how to do that, and whether there’s a certain “optimal size” for the blog.
2) i understand the blank space features either the latest post or the featured image you pick, depending on settings. however, is it possible to not have posts appear on the main page? for eg. http://dylannrose.wordpress.com/ i have the featured image on the “blank space”. however, scroll down and the post appears at the bottom too. I would just like the image to be on the home page without any posts, because i am not planning to post anything on this wordpress blog, instead, i’m using pages for my stuff.
Thanks in advance!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1) This would require modifying the CSS and you would need the Custom Design upgrade and at least a little CSS experience to do that. We can help with that, but it is good if you have at least a little knowledge of CSS.
2) You can create a static front page and then put the image into that page. The featured image thing at the top only shows on the main blog (posts) page.

OK, one more link to a very good post done by Panos on the Structure theme outlining how it works and such.
