WordPress Sub Domain
-
Hello, we purchased blog.dentalstyling.com subdomain on wordpress.com last year.
We managed to make it work editing dns.
We recently transferred the domain dentalstyling.com from a registar to another and after that blog.dentalstyling.com is no more accessible.
“Edit Dns” button is greyed out on wordpress domain control panel (it actually does not show up, it says “N/D Subdomain”) Why’s that? I do not have a panel nor permissions to edit DNS on my new registar’s control panel where I own a Hosting Linux. The domain dentalstyling.com is still our property.
How do I get over this?
Thanks in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy,
When moving the domain to a different registrar, the DNS information that you had previously setup with them may have not transferred over.
Since we don’t control the nameservers for dentalstyling.com, we can’t do anything on our end to allow the blog.dentalstyling.com address to function as expected.
Could you contact the support for your new registrar and ask them to create a CNAME record for blog.dentalstyling.com to dentalstyling.wordpress.com ?
Once your new registrar has changed this, you’ll be all set.
Subdomains can’t edit DNS settings on WordPress.com since the DNS would still be managed by the root domain (e.g. dentalstyling.com)
If you have any questions or need anything else, please let me know! Thanks for using WordPress.com.

Thank you for now, I’ll contact my service provider which should add something like this
blog 14400 IN CNAME dentalstyling.wordpress.com
to CNAME right?

Yes, that’s right. That line (or the equivalent in their DNS management system) would get you straighten out!
