wordpress subdomain

  Hi! This might be a stupid question —
  When I try to make my blog, I no longer have the option of using (mydomain).wordpress.com. Why is this? Is there any way I can use this subdomain?

  Go back to step 1 and uncheck all the boxes regarding what type of site you want to make. If you select the first checkbox only, you’ll see a free .blog subdomain instead. Give that a try?
