Why can’t I access WordPress support other than posting in a public forum?

Hi there, rarely does a question go unanswered here in this forum, but you need a paid upgrade to access other support, including email (all paid upgrades), live chat (any site with a plan) or concierge support (Business Plan only).

Thanks! I’m confused, though – I started a website through WordPress years ago that I can no longer access. I don’t understand how I’m supposed to fix that and upgrade that account if I can’t access support?

I’m sure this forum would be happy to help, along with staff here. Firstly though, do you know the URL of your website? If so, what was it?

I originally started the blog https://elephantstrut.wordpress.com but now I can’t figure out how to access it. I guess I must have two different accounts.
@civediamo You can log in to that site with the username elephantstrut and the password if you remember it. For account recovery you will need access to the email address used when you set that site up 10 years ago. -
