WordPress Support is IGNORING my emails and I need help

  • Unknown's avatar

Right now when I click on MySite in WordPress a screen says ‘You don’t have any WordPress sites yet.’ But I do. and my site is live currently.

Apparently, JetPack, the plug-in, has a fatal error. I followed instructions that told me to unplug it and plug it back in basically. But after doing so WordPress then said I did not have a site and I can’t access it through WordPress.

WordPress technical support sent me one email telling me how to unplug and plug in JetPack essentially but has not responded to ANY of my subsequent emails in which I outlined the problem above. How is this company still in business if this is the way it operates? I need help.

Well I talked with a tech support person at Blue Host and they fixed the issue.

  • Hi there,

You haven’t received a further reply to the support ticket you submitted with us, because you set multiple follow-ups to that support ticket. Each new follow-up you sent moved your request back to the bottom of the queue, meaning it never reached the point where our staff saw it.

That said, WordPress.com is not the same thing as the open source WordPress software that you’re using for your site, hosted at Bluehost. You don’t own any sites that are hosted with us.

Support for the version of WordPress you’re using is provided by the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Support for the Jetpack plugin is provided in the support forums for that plugin at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/ if you’re using the free version, or at https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support if you have a paid Jetpack plan.

  • Currently your site is not listed in My Sites, because you have disconnected it.

To reconnect it, you need to log into the WP-Admin dashboard, click on Jetpack, and follow the steps there to reconnect it.

For more help with that process, please contact Jetpack support directly at one of the links I provided above.
