WordPress Tags instead of Technorati
-
I’ve been using Flock’s blog editor and I just tried ScribeFire, but both of them are adding my tags as Technorati tags instead of WordPress tags. Does anyone know how to fix this? I don’t want my Flock/ScribeFire to default to Technorati tags when I make a blog post. I prefer WordPress tags if possible.
Thanks.

You’ll have to check in Flock or ScibeFire’s preferences or settings. I use the offline blog editor Ecto and I can set it to do Technorati or just “normal” tags and I suspect you can with Flock or ScribeFire as well. You might have to check for documentation at their websites, or in the help files if they have them.

There are actually no settings in Flock/ScribeFire. I checked at Flock support and it seems others have already spoken about this. The Windows Live Writer has this same feature but I find it slower than Flock’s, I will try the Ecto to see if it is better than WLW. Thanks.
