WordPress tags page problem

When I visit the wordpress tags page for ‘photography’, why does my blog simply show up as a series of post titles, while other photo blogs appear with an image or two and a piece of text from their latest post? How do I make mine show up in this way?

Are you talking about the blog linked to your username? That isn’t a WordPress.com blog. We can’t help you here. It seems you need to be over at support for self-hosted WordPress http://wordpress.org/support/

Thanks Jennifer – for some reason my username is now linking direct to my own website, I don’t know why. I’m sure it never used to. My wordpress.com blog is at http://alexanderramsay.wordpress.com/.

OK, I’ve corrected that – my username now links to my wordpress.com blog. However I still don’t know the answer to my original question.

The answer is that WordPress.com Staff select which blog post to “feature” and the choices they make are reflected in the display. The same answer applied to posts being featured under “Freshly Pressed on the front page of WordPress.com.

Thank you Timethief. Another puzzle needs solving. On this page http://en.wordpress.com/tag/photography/ someone has put up a blog called test page which uses one of my posts as text. What’s this about?
