WordPress takes forever to show on google

  Hey Guys,

  Happy to use wordpress, awesome stuff!

  I and my friend blog on our own blogs, but while his word press blog gets seen by google within minutes of him posting a blog, mine takes atleast 24 to 48 hrs to get on google.

  What is he doing that is so different than me? Yes sure he has been having his site for almost 2 years but is that why google does his first than mine?

  I did everything, cached the pages, google search plugins, xml stuff, sitemaps etc.

  Please suggest assist
