WordPress tells me there is no account associated with my email address

I have tried to log onto my wordpress account and it tells me there is no wordpress account associated with my email address. However, this is the email address I used to setup my blog website and I still receive emails regarding the website to that email address. I need help getting this sorted.

Hi there, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com; it is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.
You should be able to log in to it through https://anareaofinterest.co.uk/wp-login.php Is that where you are getting stuck?
Because we use a custom login system on WordPress.com, we are not able to help you regain access, but for the version of WordPress that your hosting provider uses, you can find help in the support forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
